Position Summary: This role involves comprehensive inventory control for ice and raw materials, including managing shrinkage, conducting audits, and overseeing critical supply stock. Key Highlights: 1. Manages ice and raw materials inventory 2. Conducts remote and on-site inventory audits 3. Supervises control of strategic fixed assets **2\. Key Responsibilities** **A. Inventory Control (Ice and Raw Materials)** * **Shrinkage Management:** Monitor and report ice melt and breakage rates during storage and transportation between plant and CEDIS. * **Remote and On-site Audits:** Coordinate schedules for cyclic counts across all CEDIS in the Mexican Republic. * **Consumables Control:** Supervise stock levels of critical consumables (bags, pallets, staples) and coordinate purchases with suppliers as well as shipments to plants and/or CEDIS. * **Adjustment Reconciliation:** Validate and authorize inventory adjustments in the ERP system upon identifying discrepancies in route operators’ or warehouse supervisors’ settlement reports. **B. Fixed Assets Control (Strategic)** * **Freezer Census:** Maintain an up-to-date inventory of ice conservators installed at customer retail locations (points of sale). * **Fleet and Machinery Control:** Supervise registration of plant assets (ice machines, cooling towers) and distribution fleet (refrigerated thermos). * **Tagging and Labeling:** Ensure every new asset is correctly identified and assigned to a specific cost center. * **Retirements and Transfers:** Manage the administrative process for damaged assets or those transferred between CEDIS.
