Description
* Establishes full awareness among assigned employees regarding company policies, regulations, procedures, and business initiatives. Reinforces compliance and serves as a positive resource for information and inquiries.
* Responds to emergencies. Assists in problem resolution. Investigates and analyzes. Initiates or recommends corrective actions for deviations and variables affecting programs, costs, quality, and other factors.
* Procures tools, equipment, and suppliers required for operations.
* Prepares and analyzes documentation as required (e.g., production reports, log sheets, etc.).
* Complies with and enforces job-specific Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) responsibilities defined in procedures and work instructions, and promotes ideas and suggestions aimed at improving the Environment, Health, and Safety management system. Coordinates and implements the assigned MASS program, ensuring its proper application in applicable plant areas, and participates in audits for verification.
* Reviews new product plans and discusses equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.
* Reviews work procedures related to safety regulations and clarifies uncertainties.
* Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and achieve greater utilization of labor and materials.
* Interacts with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance issues and implement recommended measures to improve operations and machinery/equipment conditions.
* Participates in safety inspections and housekeeping audits.
* Complies with all EHS policies required for the workplace.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, customers, consumers, and the general public.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
