Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
Experience
* 4 to 6 years in furniture design
* Experience leading creative and technical teams
* Preferred experience in residential, commercial, or premium furniture carpentry
* Proficiency in Cabinet Vision software is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
1. Department Leadership and Management
* Coordinate and supervise the design and engineering team
* Assign workloads and project priorities
* Ensure departmental delivery timelines are met
2. Project Development
* Oversee furniture design proposals and special projects
* Validate functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability
* Approve technical drawings, renders, and final specifications
3. Innovation and Development
* Propose new trends, materials, and design solutions
* Drive continuous improvement in creative and technical processes
* Participate in the development of new furniture products and lines
4. Cross-Departmental Coordination
* Collaborate with production, procurement, and installation teams
* Ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing
* Resolve technical issues related to projects
5. Customer Engagement
* Participate in meetings and presentations with strategic clients
* Validate client requirements and expectations
* Ensure customer satisfaction during the design and development phase
6. Administration and Control
* Supervise adherence to quality standards
* Monitor departmental design performance indicators
* Optimize departmental time and resource utilization
Salary: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per month
