**Maseficiencia is seeking an ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR in Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REPUTABLE ACCOUNTING FIRM REQUIRES: Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Financial Administration, or a related field; graduation certificate or internship completion required; a Master’s degree in Taxation, Finance, or Administration is desirable. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tax and financial accounting is required to ensure sound accounting\-tax judgment, and at least 3 years in similar roles within an accounting firm, ensuring proper tax and financial management for clients or regulatory compliance and generation of reliable information for strategic decision-making. Strong knowledge of general accounting, advanced tax and financial accounting, current tax legislation, coordination of accounting closings, advanced Excel, as well as accounting systems such as ASPEL, CONTPAQi or similar, and a customer service orientation are essential. Key responsibilities for this position: * Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the work of accounting consultants and assistants. * Review accounting records, financial statements, and tax returns. * Ensure timely fulfillment of tax obligations before the SAT (Tax Administration Service). * Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings. * Design, implement, and supervise internal controls to ensure the quality of accounting information. * Provide technical support for strategic tax and financial decisions. * Prepare managerial reports, KPIs, and metrics for the accounting department. * Identify areas for improvement in accounting and tax processes. * Promote and coordinate continuous technical training for the team. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 18:00 hrs., though candidates must have flexible availability depending on operational needs. The salary offered ranges from $30,000 to $35,000 gross per month, depending on experience, plus statutory benefits from day one.
