Description
**Main Responsibilities**
Field Inspection: Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
**PPE Control:** Supervise the mandatory and correct use of Personal Protective Equipment.
**Document Management:** Maintain up-to-date safety files, risk assessments, and work permits.
**Training:** Deliver safety talks and induction courses for newly hired personnel.
**Emergency Response:** Implement evacuation routes, first-aid protocols, and fire control measures.
**Requirements and Technical Profile**
**Education:** Engineering (Civil, Industrial), Architecture, or related fields (with degree or candidate status).
**Certifications:** In-depth knowledge of applicable Mexican regulations (e.g., NOM-031-STPS-2011 for construction) and valid labor skills certifications (DC-3).
**Key Knowledge Areas:** First aid, risk control, civil protection, and report-generation software.
**Soft Skills**
**Assertiveness and Communication:** Ability to communicate and enforce compliance with safety regulations firmly yet respectfully.
**Decision-Making:** Composure and speed in resolving problems under stress or imminent risk.
**Leadership:** Ability to raise workers’ awareness of the importance of self-protection.
