Job stability and professional development with training **Staff Selection is seeking a Logistics and Procurement Assistant in Ciudad Del Sol \- Querétaro, Querétaro** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A leading industrial machinery engineering company requires a **Logistics and Procurement Manager Assistant (for our Querétaro office)** **Requirements:** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in similar roles (imports and customs) **"Advance your career at the heart of Mexico's logistics industry!"** We require an international trade professional to support the Logistics and Procurement Management team in executing and controlling supply chain operations, with emphasis on imports, customs management, preparation of value declarations, and tracking permits and procedures with foreign trade authorities. Contribute to continuous process improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational decision-making to guarantee on-time deliveries and optimized costs for our Querétaro office. **Required Knowledge:** * Import/export, tariff classification (HS), origin and rules of origin. * Customs procedures and foreign trade authority formalities. * Preparation and review of value declarations and foreign trade documents. * Customs regimes, permits and authorizations (e.g., import permits, sanitary/phytosanitary permits where applicable, such as for gases and oils). * **Important: Familiarity with the 2026 Amendment to the Customs Law and its Regulations, and completion of Value Declarations** **Key Responsibilities:** **End-to-End Import Management:** Prepare and manage all required documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, ensuring compliance with *Incoterms*. **Regulatory and Customs Compliance:** Monitor procedures with authorities (customs, sanitary, and regulatory bodies) and manage required permits, licenses, and certifications for goods entry. **Customs Value Documentation:** Prepare and thoroughly review value declarations and other essential documents for customs valuation determination. **Validity and Permit Tracking:** Maintain an updated schedule of permit and certification expirations to ensure timely renewals. **Operational Coordination and Analysis:** Collaborate on procurement planning, monitor costs and delivery timelines, and identify opportunities for improvement in import processes. **English:** Advanced intermediate (spoken and written) **System Proficiency:** Zoho (preferred), Office **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm **Work Location:** Col.
