Coordination and communication with external accounting firms JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Accounting Assistant **Location:** Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 hours **Work Modality:** On-site Job Responsibilities * Submit monthly reports on payments made to suppliers (Accounts Payable) to the external accounting firm. * Maintain constant communication with the external accounting firm to clarify questions related to payments, invoice submissions, and reporting. * Control and track payments, balances, and cash movements. * Verify that payments are supported by appropriate documentation and comply with legal and tax requirements. * Manage bank account and petty cash reimbursements in direct coordination with Corporate. * Coordinate the accounting for Chase JP Morgan corporate purchasing cards and prepare monthly reports for Corporate. * Provide suppliers with information regarding the status of their accounts payable and address inquiries. * Manage payment of office services (electricity, water, internet, telecommunications, gasoline, etc.). * Support accounting and financial activities related to payments and reimbursements. * Purchase and supply office stationery for office staff. * Carry out necessary administrative tasks for operations in Mexico. * Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Education * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (economic-administrative sciences). * Advanced English proficiency (mandatory). Experience * Minimum of **2 years** of experience as an administrative or accounting analyst is preferred. Skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. * High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in managing and controlling databases using Excel. * Ability to read and interpret internal policies, procedures, and regulations. Working Conditions * **Standard schedule:** 08:00 to 17:00 hours, Monday to Friday. * **Occasional travel required** We Offer Salary: $40,000 to $44,000 Statutory benefits and above SGMM Bonuses
