**Metallic Structure Design Engineer** On-site \| Full-time About Us We are a renowned architecture firm in Mexico, specializing in sustainable, prefabricated, and customized architectural projects, with a focus on construction efficiency, technical design, and high-quality execution. We are currently seeking a technically skilled professional with hands-on experience in metallic structures, capable of developing construction drawings, technical modeling, and practical construction solutions tailored for fabrication and assembly. **Responsibilities** Development of metallic structure drawings and construction details Preparation of fabrication and assembly drawings Technical modeling and component breakdowns **Coordination with:** Architecture Construction site team Fabrication workshop Project management Interpretation of structural reports and criteria **Resolution of technical details:** Joints Anchors Plates Reinforcements Identification of interferences and construction conflicts Generation of material take-offs and bills of materials Technical follow-up for fabrication and assembly validation **Requirements** **MANDATORY** Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or related degree Minimum 2 years of experience in metallic structures Proficiency in: AutoCAD Revit Tekla Structures (preferred) Ability to: Draw accurately Resolve technical details Understand metallic structure fabrication and assembly **Knowledge in:** Structural profiles Welding Metal connections Construction processes **Profile We Seek** We seek a technical, organized, and solution-oriented individual. We are not looking solely for a drafter, but for someone who truly understands how a metallic structure functions—from design through execution. High-quality standards, process adherence, and timely delivery are required. **Important:** This position does not involve direct client interaction. All external communication is channeled through Project Management or Project Coordination. Conditions On-site work Full-time Availability for occasional coordination with site teams and external projects Mandatory hiring condition **The candidate must accept an initial 5-business-day training and evaluation period, paid at minimum wage.** Continuation will depend on technical performance, execution speed, and ability to interpret construction requirements.
