Supports the leadership team creating the vision and strategies for objectives improvement, site master plan, and the management process of BD Excellence components. Works closely with the Plant Manager to develop and implement the strategy for BD Excellence Maturity. Develops and executes with the leadership team and business unit managers, the BD Excellence implementation plan, budget and CTW plans. Provide coaching to leadership team in BD Excellence components. Developing and mentoring in the zero\-loss mindset across different areas to optimize quality, delivery and cost, improving safety. Teach, coach, and demonstrate proficiency in BD Excellence concepts and systematic approach, including strategy development \& deployment (SDD), core components, Zero Loss mindset and all related methodologies / tools. Manages Continuous Improvement activities at the Site to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Lead and facilitate breakthrough Kaizen events Cost to Win (CTW) initiative. Focuses on initiatives to improve Plant’s operational performance. This position works closely with Plant Manager and Business Unit Leaders to ensure CTW savings are realized. Develop and grow capability through components and component teams to establish the fundamentals of excellence in safety, quality, and reliability. Coach and guide site to ensure focus of resources and time on priorities. In support of strategic goals, coordinate the development and implementation of factory\-loss improvement objectives. Provide information to the site finance team to enable financial reporting. Demonstrate passion for Safety, Operator Centricity \& Customer focus. This job position must be available for traveling 40%. * **Education/Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar bachelor’s degree. Certified or recognized as a OPEX Production System specialist. Kaizen / Lean Tools certification preferred * **Experience:** 5\+ years experience in Operational Excellence Systems (TPS preferred). Certified or recognized as a Production System specialist. 5\+ years manufacturing experience (Japanese Automotive Industry preferred). Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence, Kaizen Project Management tools.
