This Position reports to: Production Manager **Your Role: Own the Challenge** In this role, you will help strengthen the local unit’s capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Every day, you will ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations — all within a cost‑efficient and safe working environment. You will also contribute your expertise by supporting the development and implementation of standards and test methods, ensuring that only compliant products, software, and services are released to our customers. The work model for the role is: Onsite Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role is contributing to the the ELSB Transformers Business Line in Nogales. **Key Responsibilities**: * Conduct test protocols to ensure products, systems, or software meet specifications and customer expectations across incoming inspection, manufacturing, factory test labs, and final inspection. Includes internal routine tests and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) when applicable. * Support quality control needs related to supplier quality, production quality, testing/validation, and engineering activities within the local organization. * Execute and support quality‑related training, promoting a culture of quality, integrity, and results orientation. * Collect, record, and evaluate data in accordance with ABB internal specifications, customer standards, and national/global regulations—ensuring high integrity in all analyses. **Qualifications****:** * 1\+ years of experience in Quality area, preferably in manufacturing * Knowledge of CTQs (Criticals to Quality) development and application * Knowledge of FPY (First Pass Yield) * Experience supporting CoQ (Cost of Quality) projects and tracking PPM (Parts Per Million) actions * Intermediate English * Yellow Belt certification is a plus * Experience with SAP and MS Office * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field **We also offer our employees the following benefits:** * Performance Bonus * Saving fund * Paid parental leave * Life insurance * Retirement plan * Health and dental insurance * Wellbeing program * Flex days * Employee Assistance Program (PAE)Access to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF) We value people from different backgrounds.
