We are seeking an experienced commercial and residential windows and doors Estimator who will be responsible for estimating, processing, and coordinating all aspects of our projects, from receipt of building plans to submitting the final estimate. This includes coordination with, customers, contractors, manufacturers, designers, and installers. You will be working in a fast\-paced environment with constant changes and orders coming in and out of the showroom. **Job Profile:** ● Architectural and or Engineer background and experience. ● Extensive computer knowledge ● Working knowledge of construction and project management software \+ estimating software is a plus. ● College preferred or equivalent experience ● Fluent in English. **Who you are:** You’re a detail\-oriented person who takes pride in producing thorough, accurate, and error\-free door estimates. You know how to read construction plans and windows and door schedules. You’re adept at communicating on the phone and Zoom, and you’re good at building relationships. Managing multiple assignments under time constraints is no problem for you. Your strong analytical and decision\-making skills are a key part of your success, and overall, you’re highly committed to operational excellence. **Responsibilities:** ● Prepare and submit windows and doors take off’s and estimates, ● Read and interpret floor plans, elevations, and door schedules. ● Design and order custom hollow metal door systems. ● Design and order custom fire\-rated doors for apartment buildings. ● Looks for ways to reduce costs to our clients via value engineering ● Attend and participate in Zoom meetings with Architect/Engineer and provides information for the preparation of progress reports ● Actively listening to clients and asking strategic questions to make appropriate recommendations for their projects. ● Schedule the project in logical steps with budgets and timelines required to meet deadlines ● Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff and project team. ● Study and redline job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods ● Update CRM and project management Software.
