At Bayer, you have the opportunity to be part of a culture that values our employees’ passion for innovation and empowers them to drive change.** **Medical Advisor Manager Cardiorenal** **Position: Major Tasks** * Permanent Member of The Cardio/Renal Squad \- Point of contact for Vericiguat at LATAM Level \- High-impact role for new indications for key brands in heart failure (Vericiguat and Finerenone). * Responsible for developing and implementing the medical launch readiness strategy for upcoming indications (Finerenone and Vericiguat). * Establish clear direction for handling all emerging new medical/scientific information (create/guide team to develop a unified information-handling approach through educational programs, speaker trainings, advisory boards) in order to disseminate scientific data and ensure patient safety, promoting appropriate use of our products. * Lead the Medical review and approval of all Advertising, Promotion and Sales Training materials. * Medical Affairs representative for the LMR (Legal, Medical, Regulatory) team for assigned products and/or IPT/TA. * Contribute to NIS/PASS/IIR/ISC as the Medical Expert/IIR Responsible within their IPT/TA, working in close coordination with the Data Generation Manager, providing medical and scientific knowledge and expertise to ensure optimal planning and execution of clinical trials in compliance with local regulations and local and global QSDs. * Participate in key congresses and conventions, interact with Thought Leaders (TLs), build networks, and gather competitive intelligence. * Collaborate in the development and implementation of training programs through external speakers and support sales force, MSLs, and other internal stakeholders \- Drive strategy with the Cardio/Renal MSL team. * Interact with Medical Societies and Patient Associations to understand medical gaps, patient journeys, and needs. * Contribute to the digital transformation of the area under his/her responsibility. * Propose and discuss PSP strategies for patient benefit with PSP stakeholders. * Provide medical support in the HEOR (Health Economics Outcomes and Reimbursement) process \- Pharmacoeconomic models, to submit our strategic products to the National Formulary \- Government Market, working closely with the Access Team and being accountable for the medical access strategy, which entails high-level relationships with senior government officials to secure reimbursement (~30 million Euros). Encourage local data generation to achieve full reimbursement * \- Support Regulatory Affairs in product submissions to Health Authorities (HAs) and in reviewing medical aspects during CCDS updates; responsible for presenting new molecules to the New Molecules Committee to obtain registration for new indications. * Collaborate and empower networks with a partnership mindset. * Execute, explore, learn, and make decisions in rapid cycles (90 days), demonstrating agility and reducing bureaucracy. Be accountable for resource investments and deliver complete outputs to internal and external customers. * Embrace the new DSO model, creating value by serving our customers. Provide appreciative feedback within the Cardio/Renal Product Squads. **Who You Are:** * Medical degree or advanced degree in Medicine. * 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Medical Affairs). * Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication. * Excellent project management ability. * Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
