Overview: The Material Planning Manager, Nogales is responsible for leading end\-to\-end materials planning and coordination with multi\-sites. This role ensures optimal material availability to support production, customer demand, and inventory targets while balancing cost, service levels, and operational risk. Operating within an international organization, the Material Planning Manager, Nogales partners closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and the NA operations teams to align materials strategy with business objectives. The role plays a critical part in driving supply chain resilience, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities: **Material Planning \& Execution*** Develop and execute material planning strategies to support production schedules, customer demand, and long\-term capacity plans. * Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and subassemblies while maintaining agreed inventory targets. * Own MRP planning logic, parameters, and execution to drive accurate material requirements and replenishment. * Manage and mitigate material constraints, shortages, and excess inventory across the manufacturing network. **Cross\-Functional \& Matrix Leadership*** Act as the primary material planning interface between the manufacturing site and the NA supply chain teams. * Collaborate with Sourcing to align sourcing strategies, lead times, and supplier capabilities with planning requirements. * Partner with Manufacturing and Planning Leaders to align build plans, staffing, and material readiness. * Support Planning by providing materials scenarios, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. **Performance \& Continuous Improvement*** Define, track, and improve key planning KPIs, including material availability, schedule adherence, inventory turns, inventory value, and obsolescence. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, process standardization, and system optimization. * Identify and implement best practices to improve planning maturity and operational efficiency. * Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for chronic material issues. **Systems \& Data Management*** Own the material planning processes within ERP and advanced planning systems. * Ensure master data accuracy (BOMs, lead times, safety stock, MOQ, lot sizes). * Support system enhancements, digital supply chain initiatives, and analytics adoption. * Leverage data to improve forecast responsiveness and decision\-making. **People Leadership*** Lead, coach, and develop a team of materials planners and analysts. * Build strong succession plans and elevate planning capabilities across the site. * Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. **Key Interfaces (Matrix Environment)*** Manufacturing \& Operations Leadership * Global \& NA Supply Chain * Strategic Sourcing * Engineering \& New Product Introduction (NPI) * Quality \& Regulatory * Finance \& Business Planning * External Suppliers (as needed) Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field. * 7\-10 years of progressive experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply chain management. * Proven experience working in a large, international, matrix organization. * Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, INFOR or equivalent). * Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master’s degree (MBA or Supply Chain/Operations\-related). * Experience in a high\-mix, high\-volume or regulated manufacturing environment. * APICS / ASCM (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent certification. * Experience with S\&OP / IBP processes and advanced planning systems. **Key Competencies \& Skills** * Strategic and systems\-level thinking * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Influential leadership without direct authority * Excellent communication in a global, cross\-cultural environment * Change management and continuous improvement mindset * Ability to balance operational execution with long\-term strategy **WHAT WE OFFER*** Competitive salary * Medical Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) * + HSA, FSA, Commuter Benefits + Medical Discounts * Ancillary Benefits * + Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Insurance + Voluntary, Spouse, and Child Life Insurance * Pet Insurance * Employee Discount Programs * 401k matching * Paid time off (including 15 PTO days and 11 holidays) **Scam Notice:** Please be aware that there are individuals and organizations that may attempt to scam job seekers by offering fraudulent employment opportunities in the name of Humanscale.
