High tolerance for fieldwork and variable conditions At Kino Laboratorios, we are looking to integrate Field Engineers specializing in the following areas into our teams: \- Chemical agent sampling, with a focus on industrial hygiene and compliance with NOM-010-STPS. \- Fixed sources, waste, and water. \- Safety and hygiene, with emphasis on lighting, occupational noise, physical grounds, and perimeter noise. Your mission will be to conduct on-site sampling with technical rigor, ensuring data reliability, operational safety, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and applicable Mexican labor and environmental legislation. Key Responsibilities * Conduct sampling in accordance with applicable regulations, study specifications, and the laboratory’s accredited procedures. * Prepare, verify, and operate sampling equipment. * Prepare and deliver **complete, accurate, and traceable field sheets**, ensuring information integrity. * Verify operational conditions of measurement instruments and report deviations or incidents. * Strictly comply with **laboratory and client safety and hygiene protocols**. * Provide feedback to Project Managers regarding timelines, field conditions, risks, and relevant findings. * Represent the laboratory with **technical and ethical professionalism** at client facilities. **Requirements** * **Education:** Environmental, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety and Hygiene, or related field. * **Prior experience desirable in at least one of the following areas:** * Sampling * Professional internships, residencies, or academic projects in industrial hygiene, occupational safety, or environmental measurements. * Experience in environmental services, safety and hygiene, consulting, or industry. **Technical Knowledge:** * General knowledge of labor legislation and STPS guidelines. * Willingness to undergo training in **ISO/IEC 17025** and internal procedures. * Basic proficiency in **spreadsheets** (formulas, pivot tables). * **Full availability to travel** and remain away from Hermosillo for extended periods. * **Key Skills:** attention to detail, technical discipline, effective communication, and on-the-job learning. **Ideal Candidate Profile** * High tolerance for fieldwork and variable conditions. * Technical rigor and results-oriented mindset. * Ability to adapt to dynamic schedules and frequent travel. * Teamwork and professional interaction with clients and project leaders.
