Because when you thrive, innovation thrives. **BPE ENGINEERING MANAGER** --------------------------- **IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY:** Functions at a Senior Level of the organization to manage and exercise discretion over the day to day operations of the essential function and of Continuous Improvement of the organization **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** -------------------------------------------- * Develop, lead and execute NA continuous improvement initiatives including projects metrics and cost reduction initiatives to deliver results, including objective and target setting, measurement, monitoring, identification and escalation of roadblocks including resolution and follow up. * Coach, train, develop, and engage team members throughout the various continuous improvement initiatives including lean methodologies, six sigma, VA/VE, TPS, VSM and other relevant continuous improvement tools. * Work closely with all department personnel and coordinate resources to develop problem identification and resolution skills and culture of continuous improvement. * Lead and sustain CI activities by identifying champions and leaders to execute CI opportunities including manufacturing, administrative and development processes. * Identifies process inefficiencies and identifies opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination and capability improvement across the supply chain, manufacturing and development processes and coordinates/facilitates activities using cross\-functional resources to eliminate them. * Drive standardization efforts including documenting processes, creating value stream maps for various workflows and implementing control plans. * Implements, monitors, and reviews information and progress of various waste improvement projects, and procedures throughout the manufacturing operation to achieve the established goals and sustainability. * Provide routine updates on the progress against the strategic plan to members of senior management, including proposed corrective action for any deviations from the plan. * Accountable for visual management, benchmarking and best practice culture sharing across the organization. * Participate in the physical inventories that are organized in the company. **SYSTEM MANAGEMENT** * Take part and comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System IATF 16949, Environmental. Management System – ISO 14001 and Occupational Health, Safety Management System \- ISO 45001 and TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange), corresponding to the position. Prepare evidence of compliance and support audits. * Ensure that you and the personnel under your charge (when applicable) are trained according to their position in everything related to the Management System: Quality \- IATF 16949, Environmental \- ISO 14001, Occupational Health and Safety \- ISO 45001 and TISAX , making a timely detection of training needs. * Responsible for understanding and compliance with Information Security Policies. ***Focus on Processes*** * *Systematically manages the processes in which it influences and its interactions for the achievement of objectives, favoring the understanding, definition and management of its processes with focus on PDCA and Prevention.* ***Planning and Analysis of Risks:*** * *Promotes teamwork and their functions; Risk\-based thinking to ensure their identification, analysis of causes and consequences, assessment of risk level and treatment; Documenting the above as evidence for its control.
