**Job description:** -------------------- We are seeking an Entry\-Level Accountant to support the day\-to\-day accounting operations for our Mexico operation.This role will focus on transactional accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reporting, and reconciliations) while also providing opportunities to assist with month\-end close, reporting, and audit preparation. **Key Responsibilities** *Transactional Accounting* * Process and record accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. * Maintain accounts receivable records, prepare customer statements, and support collections follow\-up. * Review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies. * Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card statements. * Record general ledger journal entries in Epicor ERP. *Month\-End Close \& Reporting* * Assist in monthly closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. * Support preparation of internal reports for U.S. and Canada SG\&A entities. * Provide documentation and analysis for internal and external audits. *Process \& Compliance* * Ensure transactions are compliant with internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures. * Maintain organized financial records and support the Finance Manager with ad\-hoc projects. * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes. **Qualifications** ------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 2\-3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environtment. * Knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS exposure a plus). * Strong Excel skills; experience with Epicor ERP or other ERP systems preferred. * Detail\-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks. * Strong communication skills; English and Spanish proficiency preferred. **What We Offer** ----------------- * Hands\-on exposure to accounting across Mexico, U.S., and Canada operations. * Training and mentorship from experienced finance professionals. * Growth opportunities into senior accountant or analyst roles. * A collaborative, international work environment.
