Here, your voice and ideas matter, your work makes an impact, and together, you will help us define the future of American Express. **How will you make an impact in this role?** The Credit Bust Out Team is responsible for mitigating risk and preventing loss in a production environment and enabling spend for our customers, by handling potential credit abuse and credit bust out for Business and Consumer accounts. Collaborating on this team provides opportunities in enhancing analytical skills and identifying potential trends in card utilization behavior. Colleagues in this position become the designated account manager for our customers as they handle cases and complete analysis on accounts to determine if there is a possible intention by card members to defraud American Express or cause American Express to suffer significant financial loss. Specialists assist in managing the aging of the CBO portfolio and support both inbound \& outbound volume. Successful specialists must have the ability to quickly analyze account information and identify what is hiding in the data. Being able to make a decision in ambiguous situations and then communicate to the customer in a confident and knowledgeable way is critical to success in this role. **Minimum Qualifications** * Must possess excellent analytical, negotiation and decision\-making skills, in addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proven personal excellence including punctuality, integrity, and accountability; MUST have the ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Someone who listens to understand, responds with emotional intelligence, treats customers with respect, and takes quick creative actions. * Should possess strong customer focus with the ability to conduct detailed and intelligent financial discussions with card members. * Have a genuine interest in people, a desire to help with a naturally positive attitude! * Strong oral communication skills with proven track record to de\-escalate difficult calls. * Self\-motivated and ability to manage time effectively. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience and success in credit or fraud segments (Preferably) Compliance Language We back you with benefits that support your holistic well\-being so you can be and deliver your best.
