**Your Job**Develop detailed production schedules according to required volumes, plant capacity, and material availability; monitor actual production figures; and prepare schedule adjustments when necessary—aiming to optimize shipping costs to fulfill customer demands on time and at the lowest possible cost. **Our Team** Your decisions significantly impact production, as they may halt machinery and shift priorities—potentially affecting plant performance. Your supervisor primarily provides guidance by reviewing your key metrics: MPD (Molex Promise Date) and CRD (Customer Request Date). You are authorized to make decisions affecting customers and production, such as halting production lines, approving overtime, purchasing raw materials up to $150,000; authorizing sudden planning changes due to customer requirements; and, based on production capacity analysis, recommending hiring of additional resources. **What you will do** * Sign manufacturing orders and convert them into production orders via SAP (enterprise software for operations and customer relationship management), to request components needed to schedule production. * Sign Purchase Orders (POs) and/or Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) aligned with replenishment lead time, and confirm delivery dates with suppliers to ensure component availability during the corresponding period. * Balance work center loads by releasing production orders, considering priorities and capacity to meet key metrics (Molex Promise Date or MPD, and Customer Request Date or CRD). * Track customer orders using open order reports (ZVRR3086\), to gather data, analyze, and resolve issues preventing on-time shipment of finished goods. * Run MRP for components and expedite them to suppliers when necessary to prevent late delivery of final products to customers. (Z9mm68, ZMRR3109, /N/GIB/DCO) * Maintain constant contact with Customer Service via CIC’s For Expedites and emails, calls, and keep the CIC report (intranet report) updated to respond to customer expedites. * Track confirmed finished goods using report ZVRR3086 to ensure generation of documentation (Delivery Note) and shipment. * Keep supplier expediting reports—both internal and external—updated through weekly meetings coordinated by the Planning Supervisor, who assigns priorities and escalates urgency levels. * Coordinate part number transfers with the Program Manager and Part Transfer Team to avoid excess finished goods and obsolete components. * Monitor for COGI entries and negative inventory (system errors) by running reports to prevent inventory discrepancies and follow up with the Material Specialist. * Understand, support, and contribute to implementation of the PBM Philosophy, applicable Quality Management standards under which the company is certified, Safety & Hygiene, Environmental Management Systems, Six Sigma, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), and CTPAT/OEA, in accordance with established policies and procedures. * Perform duties related to your position. **Who You Are** * Completed university degree * 3 years of experience * Advanced English * SAP proficiency **What Will put you ahead** * Planner Buyer * More than 3 years of experience * APICS certification At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
