The Operations Supervisor is responsible for defined tasks or moderately complex projects.
In this role, you will follow an individual work plan, meet short-term daily objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise 10–15 full-time team members
* Provide work direction to specialists to effectively resolve conflicts and motivate individuals to perform as a cohesive team
* Plan and organize staff daily activities according to customer needs and demand; establish priorities while considering available resources and time constraints
* Maximize field operation effectiveness through careful project planning and optimal utilization of the entire inspection services team to minimize costs and increase overall customer satisfaction
* Communicate effectively with customers, inspection services staff, and work teams
* Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable safety measures and procedures during repair activities
* Ensure control and documentation of operational results, incidents, and variables to meet quality requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering. If no university degree is held, the candidate must be in the process of obtaining one and/or have at least five years of experience in the Locomotive Maintenance Services industry
* Intermediate English proficiency
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Availability to rotate shifts, work on holidays and weekends
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
