





**Job Description** **GENERAL OBJECTIVE:** Defines and establishes procedures related to the manufacturing process of products, meeting quality specifications in the most efficient manner according to company objectives. Responsible for the development and execution of projects and activities aligned with company strategies for process improvement and/or control, as well as for relevant plant metrics regarding efficiency, quality, and cost through analysis, methodologies, and continuous improvement tools MKOS; develops full, junior engineers or engineering assistants. RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS: 2\.1 Analyze and resolve problems to provide support, process solutions, and ensure product manufacturing timelines. 2\.2 Implement capacity improvement projects, cost reduction, quality, and process efficiency. 2\.3 Develop and optimize medium/long-term moderate-to-high level processes and assigned projects within the company. 2\.4 Use MKOS tools and methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving, Quality Tools, among others, for the development and execution of various area activities and projects. 2\.5 Monitor and improve results related to cost, efficiency, quality, and safety. 2\.6 Update or implement systems for process control and improvement. 2\.7 Conduct engineering studies. 2\.8 Manage HeadCount according to process needs and capabilities. 2\.9 Develop and implement necessary operational instructions and process documentation, as well as train required personnel. 2\.10 Standardize operations within their areas and methodologies (Standard Work or STD work). 2\.11 Execute and track ECNs. 2\.12 Support and follow up on corporate activities and other departments requiring assistance. 2\.13 Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies for processes. 2\.14 Develop assigned personnel. 2\.15 Calculate productivity bonuses, generate reports required by the department. PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: 3\.1 Experience / Technical Knowledge. * Minimum or approximately 5 years of experience in production and direct warehouse areas of production lines / areas in Molding and Extrusion. * Knowledge of assembly processes. * Intermediate / advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Intermediate / advanced proficiency in AS400, M\-Power, 3M, Packdraw, Macros, AutoCAD. * Intermediate beginner level in Minitab. * Knowledge and ability to implement Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving Tools, Quality Tools, Core Tools, 6 Sigma. * Interpretation and data analysis for decision making. * Basic knowledge of ISO13485 standard and FDA regulations CFR21\.820 and CFR 21\.11. * Knowledge as an internal quality auditor (desirable). * Database management using SQL (desirable). * Technical experience and knowledge of molds and plastic injection molding and extrusion machines (desirable). * Experience in process, equipment, and material validations (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV) (desirable). 3\.2 Competencies / Soft Skills * Ability and skill to sell their projects to customers. * Teamwork * Customer focus * Ease of data interpretation * Proactive * Results-oriented * Sound judgment * Sense of urgency * Build effective relationships * Leadership and people-oriented * Negotiation skills * Decision-making leading to positive outcomes based on analysis. * Ability to manage different resources according to individual capabilities, as well as their development and retention. * Ability to handle multiple task tracking. * Flexible schedule availability according to project needs. * Always responsible and professional. 3\.3 Academic Background * Degree in Plastics Injection Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent field. * Master's degree related to industrial processes (desirable). * Bilingual (English\-Spanish), oral and written, minimum advanced level 80% (B2\). * Green Belt certification. * Black Belt certification (Desirable). 4\.0 MAIN INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS: Corporate and all departments. 4\.2 External Suppliers and customers.
