Job Objective Perform splicing, interconnections, and continuity testing on fiber optic networks. Main Responsibilities * **Splice** optical fiber strands using precision equipment. * **Prepare** drop cables, splice closures (torpedoes), and terminals (NAPs). * **Measure** network quality using OTDR and power meter equipment. * **Identify** and repair faults or breaks in optical fiber strands. * **Interpret** blueprints, fiber strand diagrams, and color codes. Required Qualifications * **Experience** operating fusion splicers and precision cutters. * **Knowledge** of interpreting reflectometry (OTDR) readings. * **Fine manual dexterity** for handling optical filaments. * **Availability** to work onsite and respond to network emergencies.
