This position reports to: Quality Specialist **Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)** In this role, as Continuous Improvement Intern, you will investigate, source, develop, and support implementation of our Continuous Improvement strategy known as Quality Wins, through Monterrey 2.0 by using Lean/Six Sigma concepts and tools. Each day, you will get the opportunity to collaborate with local and multisite functions to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class level performance. The work model for the role is: **On site** This role is contributing to the Electrification - Smart Power business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for:* Support Implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives, such as projects, ideas, trainings, audits and certifications through the plant. * Support in Quality Wins Workshops for Data Collection preparation: Perform NVA/NA Analysis, time and movements studies to verify cycle time and identify Kaizen Ideas in the operational and administrative processes. * Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and/or Preventative Action projects as assigned during Quality Circles, Quality Wins Workshops and system ideas. * Collaborate to optimize and digitalize Continuous Improvement Modules, Tools, Apps and Metrics. * Participate in 5S Audits, follow-up actions and meet ABB’s requirements regarding 5S Standards for world-class level performance. **Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)*** Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (Graduation Dec 2026 - Jun 2027), Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any related field with a focus on manufacturing processes. * A collaborative, solution-focused approach, strong written & spoken communication skills. * Interest in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement, familiarity with continuous improvement tools and methodologies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Previous internship experience is preferred but not required. * Advanced English level. * Knowledge of PowerApps, Power BI, Databases, and AI is desirable.
