This position holds full responsibility for the performance and coordination of an entire shift, ensuring consistent adherence to operational, safety, and quality standards.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ **The Team Leader is responsible for personnel supervision, maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring product quality, and safeguarding the reliability and continuity of the production line.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ **This role is directly accountable for achieving shift-level operational objectives by setting priorities, defining and executing corrective actions, and ensuring appropriate escalation when additional support is required.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **What You Will Do** -------------------- * **Leads their crew (Operators A, B, C, and D), additional personnel, and/or support areas (temporary staff and contractors within their work area).** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * **Coordinates the team’s day-to-day activities to ensure manufacturing operations comply with established specifications and production schedules—volume, cost, and waste targets—as well as quality standards.** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * **Is responsible for managing their direct reports (development, training, shift rostering, leave requests, breaks, vacations, task assignments, etc.).** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Supervises personnel to ensure all production tasks are performed safely across all machinery and equipment assigned to them.** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Executes quality control equipment checks (metal detectors, vision cameras).** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Ensures prompt resolution of machinery malfunctions to maintain process continuity.** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * **Ensures and maintains accurate daily logging of information in SAP (pre-maintenance entries, work order creation, material loading, assignment of activity owners, activity confirmations, and monthly reporting of maintenance needs and suggestions).** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Who You Are** --------------- * **Education: Technical degree preferred in mechanical, mechatronic, electronic, industrial, or automation engineering—or related fields.
