You will also support the Finance and Operations Departments in monitoring, reporting, and controlling the hotel’s Cost of Sales—including auditing, controls, and financial reporting. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure the best product is sourced and purchased. * Establish contracts to guarantee reduced pricing across all hotel operational areas. * Ensure buyers update all order receipt dates in accordance with supplier-promised delivery dates. * Ensure all authorized or approved purchase orders are sent daily to their respective suppliers/vendors for delivery purposes. * Ensure quotations are updated regularly and current supplier price lists are maintained. * Research and identify new products and services available in the market for the hotel. * Supervise supplier quality, service, and pricing through standard purchasing specifications. * Ensure CAPEX purchases comply with policy procedures and maintain records and tracking by project number. * Verify the 'open orders' report daily, and all open orders are reviewed and verified regularly. * Responsible for all administrative functions of the Materials Department, including personnel, training, and execution of related tasks. * Ensure suppliers adhere to hygiene standards for delivered goods. * Maintain all records so they can be verified at any time for informational or audit purposes. * Organize follow-up meetings with departmental managers/directors. * Liaise with purchasing coordinators, receiving agents, warehouse managers, and cost controllers. * Keep all documents, files, and listings up to date and perform duties in the most efficient manner. * Manage and mentor the purchasing team. * Proficiency in mathematics and financial data; competence in working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel). **Mandatory** * Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to fulfill all tasks and responsibilities. * Must consistently demonstrate a positive, motivating attitude toward colleagues and guests. * Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the field. * Must exhibit professionalism and be oriented toward Luxury Service. **Desirable** * Must work safely, prudently, and in an organized manner. * Must be able to work collaboratively and interact effectively across all levels, maintaining cordial and warm relationships with all colleagues. **Requirements** **Language** * Spanish English (Advanced) * **Education Level** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. **Additional Information** Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs.
