Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech **We are searching for the best talent for Principal Engineering Technician to be in Juarez City.** **You will be responsible for****:** * Providing support to Principal Technicians or Engineers in discipline-specific matters. * Following standardized procedures when performing tasks, as applicable. * Keeping the work area clean and organized. * Starting up, adjusting, and operating basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment. * Completing environmental and safety training appropriate to the discipline. * Writing moderately complex technical reports, using graphs and diagrams to describe and illustrate operational characteristics of systems/tests, as well as malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations. * Troubleshooting issues related to systems, components, and equipment—including electrical, test, mechanical, hydraulic, or facility-related. * Performing basic operational diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and disconnecting components, sub-assemblies, and manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment to isolate faults, determine solutions, and perform necessary repairs. Documenting all changes. * Ensuring that test tools and equipment are properly calibrated and repaired per standardized operating procedures. * Supporting and/or conducting the quotation process for equipment and fixtures in preparation for procurement. * Supporting installation and validation processes for required equipment in the assigned area. * Supporting statistical process control (SPC) processes where applicable. * Supporting and/or generating engineering change orders (ECOs). * Correctly executing the equipment and fixture introduction process into cleanrooms, following established procedures and requirements such as MLA, PM, and associated calibrations. * Recording daily tasks in eCMMS or the designated system. * Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next administrative level. * Responsible for ensuring subordinates comply with all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, and that all necessary resources to do so are available and in good condition. * Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. **Qualifications / Requirements:** * Basic English language proficiency preferred. * Basic ability to read and understand technical documentation associated with the specific discipline. * Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) / ISO preferred. * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation, calibration procedures, and quality systems preferred. * Ability to use personal computers and related software. * Ability to use measurement and test equipment associated with the specific discipline. * Knowledge of Campus information systems preferred. * Ability to successfully complete departmental / corporate training courses in manufacturing techniques. * Ability to use the internal document change management system (CPDM). * Knowledge and skills to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this position, preferably with 8–10 years of relevant experience. * High school diploma, bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent. * Preferably related training in two or more of the following disciplines: electronics, mechanics, production, electromechanics, testing, quality, statistical process control, biomedical, or industrial. * Experience (current or previous) in the medical device industry. **Required Skills:** **Preferred Skills:** Agile Manufacturing, Agility Jumps, Communication, Data Analysis, Equipment Maintenance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Issue Escalation, Manufacturing Equipment, OSHA Compliance, Plant Operations, Predictive Maintenance, Problem Management, Problem Solving, Project Management, Repair Management, Report Writing, Safety-Oriented
