Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary:** Supports manufacturing processes by performing various technical tasks, including evaluating, documenting, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality and safety. **What You'll Do:** * Execute manufacturing tasks and processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), accurately documenting relevant data and batch records. * Improve production workflows, design process flow diagrams, conduct time and motion studies, and optimize facility layouts. * Identify issues related to manufacturing processes and implement process improvements. * Support manufacturing processes through activities such as process and equipment validation, implementation of manufacturing best practices, and report generation. **What Skills You'll Bring:** * **Manufacturing Processes:** Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies, and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage, and monitor the entire manufacturing process. * **Technical Problem Solving:** Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for technical problem solving; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical problems in hardware, software, applications, or operations. * **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to analyze situations accurately and make productive decisions based on informed judgment. * **Maintaining Focus:** Understanding of the importance of focusing on current responsibilities and ability to carry thoughts and tasks through to completion. **Basic Qualifications:** * Education – Industrial Engineering, Business Management Engineering, or related field * Experience – 1 year of experience in manufacturing processes * Knowledge – Time and motion studies, line balancing, AutoCAD, MS Office, process mapping * Language – Intermediate English * Willingness to travel: No * Willingness to work rotating shifts: Yes Additional Information: * Location: Caterpillar Torreón, Plant 2 * ISE: No * Sponsorship: No * Relocation assistance: No Don’t forget to include your resume! **Posting Dates:** May 27, 2026 \- June 4, 2026 Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
