Position Summary: Carrier Global Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex systems on presses and bending machines. Today, we continue to lead because we have a diverse, world-class workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do. **Responsibilities:** ---------------------- * Performs repairs and preventive maintenance, designs mechanical and electrical equipment improvements, and maintains complex systems as required by the employee’s occupational specialty. Provides troubleshooting assistance for equipment and technical support on production lines. * Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve issues. * Works under the strictest safety standards (PPE, LOTO, and Specific Procedures). * Closes daily corrective and scheduled work orders. * Participates in continuous improvement activities for processes and cost-saving projects. * Identifies and obtains parts, supplies, and repair items as needed. Suggests alternative components and solutions to improve reliability. * Performs maintenance independently per industry standards. **Job Objective:** ------------------------- Perform mechanical, electrical, and system preventive maintenance on presses and/or bending machines in accordance with manufacturer manuals, diagrams, and drawings. Minimizing maintenance-related impact on equipment.
