If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. **Job Summary** --------------- The **Engineering Technician** will be located in **North Guadalajara**, supporting operations focused on CISCO products within the electronic manufacturing environment. **Here are some examples of the activities you will perform:** * Conduct shift handover and takeover, ensuring operational continuity and accurate communication of unit status. * Locate and identify units, validating their status in Flex Flow. * Classify and segregate units according to their destination within the process. * Supply materials to units under repair. * Manage and deliver critical or express units to the respective departments. * Administer materials and dispositions via the IRIS process: + Generation of IRIS + Recording of materials used * Disposition of SCRAP materials (SRCAP) * Identification of non-functional components (e.g., defective VGA replacement) + Handling requirements via the VAN Ticket system: + Requesting consumables, SMT tools, heel protectors, lab coats, etc. * Control and tracking of materials via the USIS system: + Conversion and management of new material to old material **Essential Skills for This Role:** * Technical or high school diploma in electronics, mechatronics, or related field. * Prior experience in electronic manufacturing. * Knowledge of SMT processes. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel). * Familiarity with IST testing. **Desired Skills for This Role:** * Proactivity. * Strong communication skills. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Teamwork. * Knowledge of internal systems such as Flex Flow, IRIS, VAN Ticket, and USIS. * Material handling and control in high-demand environments. * Tracking of critical and urgent processes (expedite / critical flow). **Here are some examples of our benefits:** * Major medical expense insurance. * Life insurance. * Year-end bonus (aguinaldo). * Vacation premium. * Grocery vouchers. * Savings fund. * Transportation. * Subsidized cafeteria. **Job Category** ---------------- Production Engineering Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
