




Overview:### **Tooling Engineer** **Location: San Juan del Río, Querétaro****We manufacture parts that help aircraft engines operate safely and efficiently.** At Morgan, we develop turbine components using advanced materials and large-scale production processes. In short: what we do keeps airplanes in the air and passengers safe. This position is critical because tooling is the backbone of production. If tooling is not in good condition, nothing works. Your mission will be to keep it safe, functional, and ready for operation.### **The Role** You will be responsible for the complete tooling lifecycle: from receiving customer-owned tooling and verifying it is free of damage, to maintaining everything in optimal condition and in compliance with standards. You will apply Lean principles, conduct root cause analysis, and work closely with production teams to resolve floor-level issues. Responsibilities:### **Key Responsibilities** * Design and implement process improvements in tooling operations using Lean tools (6S, TPM, RCM). * Create and manage control documentation to reduce risks of damage or injury. * Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to meet site KPIs. * Conduct root cause analysis (5 Whys, Ishikawa, A3\). * Manage tooling and spare parts inventory. * Serve as the main point of contact for the production team: resolving questions, identifying risks, and areas for improvement. * Collaborate with other departments on safety, continuous improvement, and Lean projects. * Prepare clear reports and presentations on findings and recommendations. * Coordinate with import/export for tooling transfers. * Interact directly with suppliers for spare parts and local requirements.
