Ensure regulatory compliance and preventive culture **Location:** CDMX – Central Office **Position Mission:** Lead the comprehensive strategy for operational planning, in-store stock and marketing management, and field talent management to ensure flawless, efficient, and sustainable commercial execution. This position orchestrates human resource allocation, transforms data into strategic decisions, and drives digital platform evolution, ensuring that over 2,300 merchandisers and supervisors operate under an optimized model aligned with the company’s commercial and reputational objectives. Its impact extends beyond operations: it enables profitable growth, protects brand reputation at point-of-sale (PDV), and strengthens organizational culture through management of experiences, contracts, tools, and technology; delivering end-to-end execution support to the entire Company. Implement Safety and Hygiene, Occupational Health, Labor Risk, and Preventive and Corrective Contingency Plans across Nestlé Corporate Offices and Points of Sale nationwide, with merchandisers’ attention coordinated and evaluated by regional supervisor teams to ensure compliance with Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) and internal Nestlé instructions related to Operational, Asset, and Occupational Health & Safety, thereby reducing and communicating risks faced by employees and visitors on-site, fulfilling applicable legal requirements, and protecting the safety of personnel working for the company. * **A Day in the Life of:** Design, Implement, and Support the Evolution of the Operating Model * Design and consolidate the national operating model guaranteeing strategic allocation of human resources to high-potential points of sale. This includes annual planning based on time-and-motion studies, generation of operational drivers per category and channel, and delivery of service-level agreements (SLAs) aligned with commercial objectives. This responsibility ensures every minute invested at PDV translates into tangible growth, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation, aligned with the MBS strategy. * Develop the Coverage Optimization and Supervisor Route Strategy * Support the planning, validation, and continuous adjustment of supervisor and merchandiser routes, ensuring each visit adds value and 100% of target stores receive attention according to model standards. This function includes weekly monitoring of operational alerts, resolution of critical tasks, and integration of artificial intelligence to enhance field decision-making. * Strategic Stock and In-Store Marketing Management and PDV Risk Management * Orchestrate consolidation, analysis, and management of key indicators such as sell\-out, expiries, non-selling inventory, stockouts, and regulatory compliance (NOM\-051\). Activate and support quality and legal protocols upon deviations, protecting company reputation and ensuring brand safety in the market. * This responsibility turns every data point into a decision and every alert into an opportunity for improvement. Oversee Comprehensive Administration of Resources and Operational Contracts Ensure 100% availability and traceability of telephone lines assigned to the merchandiser team (2300\), serving as a critical enabler for digital connectivity, activity measurement, and operational performance at point of sale (activations, deactivations, expirations, incidents). * Logistics and personnel contracts (SIGA), ensuring uninterrupted operational continuity. Coordinate delivery of tools, uniforms, personal protective equipment, and operational resources, ensuring accuracy in assignments, legal compliance, and distribution efficiency. This function is critical to maintaining daily productivity of over 2,300 field collaborators. * Develop Talent and Organizational Culture Programs * Design, execute, and evolve operational collaborator experience programs such as Nescamp, Evoluciones, and recognition initiatives, reinforcing sense of belonging, motivation, and team commitment. * Ensure proper implementation of onboarding processes, operational trainings, and union alignment, promoting a high-performance and regulatory-compliant culture across all regions. * Create the Digital Transformation and PDV Technology Support Strategy * Create and lead continuous evolution of operational digital platforms, ensuring their availability, functionality, and alignment with business, zone, and global needs. Provide technical support, training, and incident follow-up, strengthening field team digital competencies and maximizing operational efficiency through tools such as Nesmovil, ISO, and Streamline. * Support Strategic Decision-Making for PDV * Generate integrated executive information providing clear visibility into operational status, including productivity, availability, turnover, performance, and culture indicators. Transform operational insights into strategic actions guiding commercial and operations leadership decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continuous evolution of the operating model. * Develop the Comprehensive Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Preventive Culture Strategy * Lead Safety, Hygiene, and Civil Protection strategy across offices and workplaces, ensuring compliance with official regulations, corporate policies, and international standards (OSHA/ISO). Implement and supervise prevention programs, trained response brigades, audits, and certifications, while developing training and communication plans to strengthen employee awareness and participation. This responsibility ensures personnel protection, operational continuity, risk reduction, and positioning of the company as a benchmark in occupational safety. * Design Strategic Business Reviews and Identify Commercial Opportunities * Create and lead preparation and delivery of Business Reviews prioritizing the 15 Businesses and internal areas, transforming information from strategic planning KPIs (availability, execution, and operational reach of merchandisers at PDV) into actionable insights. Ensure each analysis translates into clear improvement proposals, identification of commercial opportunities, and action plans strengthening business relationships, optimizing PDV execution, and accelerating profitable growth. * Implement and Support the Operational Virtuous Circle Process (for PDV execution) * Drive collaborative work among Operations, Trade Marketing, Commercial, and Field Teams, ensuring the operational cycle plan is correctly integrated and supported by key commercial incidents. Ensure every designed action translates into flawless PDV execution aligned with strategic objectives of growth, profitability, and brand visibility, maximizing the impact of commercial and operational investments through implementation and integration of the operational process into the company’s MSR. Identify and recognize hazards and risks in work areas, safeguarding my own safety and that of people around me, and applying established safety rules and protocols to prevent accidents. * **What Will Make You Successful:** * Experience as Commercial Director / Trade Marketing or related roles in the Retail sector, performing functions such as team management, client negotiation and sales, and tracking of indicators and report analysis, transforming data into concrete action plans. * Ability to train others in excellence in execution, effective planning, and data management. * University degree in Administrative Sciences, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Proficiency in Office suite and SAP. * English: Intermediate – Advanced.
