Ensure sanitary standards and food quality regulations A prominent meat industry company is seeking: **Senior Buyer (Food Sector)** **Job Objective:** Lead strategic procurement of food ingredients (raw materials, perishables, groceries), guaranteeing quality, cost optimization, and an uninterrupted supply chain **Responsibilities:** * **Supplier Development:** Identify, negotiate with, and continuously evaluate domestic and international suppliers. * **Cost Management:** Conduct market analysis for pricing, budget control, and cost reduction without compromising quality. * **Quality and Food Safety Control:** Ensure food products comply with sanitary standards and quality regulations. * **Planning and Logistics:** Collaborate closely with Production, Sales, and Branches/Packaging Facilities for timely supply **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Food Engineering, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 4–6 years of verifiable procurement experience in the food/retail sector. * **Technical Knowledge:** Advanced proficiency in SAP systems is mandatory; Excel (pivot tables, cross-referencing), inventory management, and knowledge of customs regulations. * **Skills:** Strong negotiation ability, results-oriented mindset, and attention to detail **Working Hours:** Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with availability to handle urgent operational matters on Saturdays **We Offer:** * Bi-weekly payroll via Banorte bank * Statutory benefits Salary: $13,447.93 – $26,696.67 per month Work Location: On-site employment
