




Job Summary: This position involves welding and maintenance tasks at the plant, including PPE inspection, part positioning and welding, cleaning, polishing, and implementation of the 5S methodology. Skills in cleaning, polishing, and equipment maintenance. **Job Description** **JOB DETAILS** **Daily Salary $513** **Schedule: Monday to Friday** **Rotating every 2 weeks: Day shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm \- Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Verify full PPE compliance before entering the plant. * Attend daily safety meetings. * Check pending parts at the workbench, verifying quantity and type of parts. * Position parts on the workbench using a hoist or crane depending on part size. * Regularly inspect the welding nozzle for cleanliness; clean if contaminated with grease using pointed pliers to remove spatter and prevent clogging. * Weld missing sections and flip parts using the crane or hoist to weld the opposite side. * Perform air arc gouging on defective parts (e.g., porosity) on both sides using air arc and carbon rods, then clean the part with an air hammer and re-weld. * Polish defective areas such as excess weld using a polisher, then clean the part with an air hammer. * Manually replace welding wire spools when depleted. * Mark completed parts using stamp letters indicating the welder’s identification code. * Place finished parts on designated racks using the hoist or crane. * Implement the 5S methodology in the work area \= Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain. * Substitute for crane operators to supply parts to welders and painters. * Participate in Kaizen or continuous improvement events. **Requirements** * Must be of legal age. * Completed secondary education. * Experience using micro-wire welding (GMAW). * Air arc welding. * Welding with 0\.45 and 0\.52 wire. * Flexible availability for shift schedules. **Additional Information** **Address:** ROGELIO GONZALEZ CABALLERO 600, PARQUE INDUSTRIAL STIVA, 66626 CD APODACA,N.L.
