**PURPOSE AND WORK IMPACT**

The Warehouse Operator will perform routine processing of incoming and outgoing bulk shipments, follow established policies and procedures, and work under frequent guidance. In this role, the individual will complete activities related to shipment receipt and documentation, as well as receipt of bagged goods, and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
**Key Responsibilities**
---------------------------
* Load and unload bulk bags of feed.
* Chock trucks and load/unload vehicles.
* Operate powered mobile equipment.
* Support cycle counting processes.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in facility operations within their area of responsibility, with limited authority to implement changes as defined by management.
* Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, including equipment lockout/tagout, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
* Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, enter information into computerized systems, and escalate issues as needed using foundational knowledge of processes and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
------------------
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Completed secondary education or higher.
* Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, or twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with advance notice.
* Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
* Experience using a computer is preferred.
* Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
* Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office software, such as Excel and Word, is preferred.
