Warehouse and Scale Technician **Position Summary** Location: Silao, Guanajuato Company: Nestlé Purina Schedule: Availability for rotating shifts and breaks Education: Engineering **Internal Requirements:*** 1 year in current position. * No absences or disciplinary actions in the last 6 months. * 100% completion of required courses and learning paths. * No concurrent recruitment processes. * \+ 4 months since previous application. **Job Mission:** Ensure correct receipt, weighing, and recording of raw materials using industrial scales, BPM, and SAP entries to guarantee traceability, safety, and timely material availability for production. Contributes to plant operational flow, inventory accuracy, and audit compliance. **A Day in the Life of...*** Accurately record all movements and weighings in SAP. * Capture receipts, issuances, and consumption resulting from weighing by entering data in real time, validating quantities, units, and locations to maintain precise inventories and ensure timely availability for Production. * Validate documentation and receipt conditions at each weighing (Receipts with discrepancies are escalated until corrected). * Review purchase orders, delivery notes, certificates, license plates, and carrier documentation, comparing physical quantities against documents and validating batches to ensure material meets standards before entry. * Verify scale functionality and calibration. * Daily review of scale status and accuracy, reporting failures to Maintenance and following up on scheduled calibrations to prevent weighing errors impacting inventories, quality, and safety. * Maintain the scale area orderly, clean, and compliant with BPM. * Maintain safe and clean conditions in the weighing zone by applying 5S and fulfilling audit requirements to ensure process safety and facilitate internal/external audits. * Segregate and document non-conforming materials identified during weighing. * Identify out-of-specification materials or discrepancies by labeling, documenting, and notifying Quality to prevent defective materials from entering production. * Perform precise weighing of raw materials and other materials. * Weigh all incoming raw materials and materials by operating scales, verifying calibration, recording batch, weight, and time in SAP/WMS, and validating against permitted tolerances to ensure inventory accuracy and full traceability of received or utilized material. **What Will Make You Successful*** Experience in material receipt processes. * Experience recording movements in systems (e.g., SAP). * Experience in inventory control. * Experience working in plant or warehouse operations.
