Packaging and Warehouse Assistant – E-commerce / Mercado Libre

Job Objective: Ensure accurate picking, packaging, storage, and dispatch of products sold on e-commerce platforms such as Mercado Libre, guaranteeing fast, precise, and optimal-condition deliveries to maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: * Receiving and unloading merchandise from suppliers and transport units for proper verification and warehouse intake. * Receiving and storing merchandise in the warehouse. * Product labeling and classification. * Order picking according to sales orders. * Correct and secure packaging of products for shipment. * Verification of quantities, models, and conditions prior to shipment. * Printing and affixing shipping labels. * Preparing packages for courier pickup. * Basic inventory control and support in cycle counts. * Maintaining warehouse order and cleanliness. * Reporting damaged, missing, or defective items. * Assisting with returns and inspection of returned merchandise. * Meeting dispatch deadlines and operational metrics. Requirements: Education: * Completed secondary school or high school. Experience: * Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or e-commerce is desirable. * Experience handling shipping platforms or shipping labels is desirable. Knowledge: * Basic computer skills. * Use of thermal printers and scanners. * Inventory organization. * Packaging and handling of merchandise.
