Responsibilities Supervise the team of traffic executives and assistants in managing customs operations. Coordinate the clearance of imported and exported goods, ensuring adherence to established timelines. Validate the proper compilation of customs files and documentation (customs declarations, invoices, certificates, permits, etc.). Track ongoing operations and resolve operational incidents with clients, authorities, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with current customs legislation and internal policies. Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on the status of their operations. Coordinate with internal departments (classification, legal, logistics) to ensure efficient operational flow. Prepare operational and performance reports for the department. Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions. Train and monitor the performance of the team under your supervision. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in customs traffic operations. Knowledge of customs legislation and import/export processes. Proficiency in customs systems (e.g., CASA, SAAI, VUCEM). Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
