Job Summary: Monitor and track units in transit, ensuring adherence to scheduled times and routes, while providing support to drivers and customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Incident reporting and ETA updates TLE GUADALUPE IS SEEKING A TRAFFIC ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS: -High school diploma completed -Availability to work rotating shifts (day and night) -Minimum 1 year of experience JOB OBJECTIVE: Monitor and track units in transit through internal and customer platforms to ensure compliance with established schedules and routes, thereby providing up-to-date support to drivers and customers during transit. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Monitor and track assigned units in the system to ensure adherence to established route timelines. -Respond to and inform customers of their cargo’s current status to prevent supply chain disruptions caused by delays in scheduled timelines. -Report and update any incidents or situations affecting the driver’s transit time to destination by updating ETAs to ensure rapid response, minimize delays, and maintain service continuity. -Verify and ensure that the satellite (GPS) systems on tractors and equipment function properly to minimize operational risks and provide accurate updates to customers. -Record and update reports of in-transit unit failures under one’s responsibility to document incidents and facilitate process improvements.
