This position is based in Querétaro, Mexico. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient, continuous, and safe operation of plastic injection molds, equipment, and mold shop infrastructure through planning, execution, and supervision of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs—ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. **THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS** * Ensure compliance with legal regulations regarding safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance of plastic injection molds. * Plan, coordinate, and supervise fabrication of spare parts for plastic injection molds. * Manage quotations required for preventive and corrective maintenance. * Analyze and manage refurbishment needs based on shot count. * Coordinate procurement of spare parts for plastic injection molds. * Manage repairs with external suppliers. * Prepare internal quotations. * Prepare technical reports for internal and external customers. * Develop suppliers for the mold shop. * Develop and train mold technicians. * Administer budget, resources, and suppliers for the mold maintenance area. * Analyze, define, and manage spare parts. * Participate in internal and external audits. * Participate in meetings with global teams (North America, Europe, Asia). * Manage workflow and layout modifications within the area. **WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ON THIS JOURNEY** * Education: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. * Experience: Minimum 5\-8 years in maintenance and fabrication of plastic injection molds. * Solid experience in plastic injection mold design. * Experience in hot runner inspection and repair. * Experience in industrial polishing / SPI (desirable). * Experience in machining on 3\-axis CNC machining centers (5\-axis preferred) and EDM. * Experience in maintenance of 3\-axis CNC machining centers (5\-axis preferred) and EDM. * Experience in conventional machining (desirable). * Knowledge of scientific molding (certification desirable). * Industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity. * Valid passport. * Valid U.S. visa (desirable). * Software + MP10 (desirable) + SAP + SolidWorks + Mastercam + MES Connectivity (desirable) + English B1/B2 (intermediate) + Microsoft Office **SOFT SKILLS** * Leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams. * Leadership and project management. * Planning and decision\-making. * Effective communication. * Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies. * Innovation, analysis, and continuous improvement. * Building agreements / seeking mutual benefit. * Teamwork. * Openness to change. * Willingness to accept challenges. * Giving and receiving feedback. **WHAT WE OFFER:** * Competitive salary. * An exciting, diverse, and values\-based work environment. * Opportunities for training and personal development. **Be You.
