Our team researches, innovates, and creates solutions that deliver healthier outcomes for our customers.** **Purpose and Impact of the Role** The General Operator will perform routine and repetitive physical production and warehouse responsibilities following established policies and procedures with frequent guidance. In this role, you will support production operations while complying with all applicable regulatory and food safety policies. **Key Responsibilities** * Set up multiple dissimilar machines requiring moderate-to-complex setup and assist others. * Feed materials into machines, operate and monitor machine operations per production schedules, and make complex adjustments as needed to ensure product specifications are met. * Use hand and power tools; perform autonomous preventive maintenance; troubleshoot complex machine issues; assist other operators in troubleshooting; and provide guidance. * Manually and electronically track production and quality records. * Operate powered industrial trucks such as forklifts or pallet jacks. * Unload and prepare product for movement of finished goods. * Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Completed primary education or higher. * Ability to perform physical tasks—including bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, or twisting—safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to lift up to 25 kilograms, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to work in elevated areas (1.20 meters or higher). * Ability to work in varied environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with prior notice.
