General Objective: Provide engineering support for plastic injection processes. Knowledge Requirements: * Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. * Knowledge of injection molding machines, robots, molds, peripheral equipment, electricity, polymers, and equipment programming. * General knowledge of injection molding presses. * Knowledge of peripherals for injection molding presses, such as cooling systems, resin drying units, vacuum loaders, mixing hoppers, etc. * Corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of injection molding presses. * Use and handling of workshop tools. * Effective communication and generation of detailed failure reports. General Responsibilities: * Assist in engineering documentation within the area. * Mold maintenance program. * Liaison for engineering-related events. * Design and procurement of tooling for the area. * Process implementation. * Analysis and follow-up of improvements within the area. * Spare parts inventory tracking. * Support for quality management system audits.
