Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, serving as a role model for the team by providing guidance, feedback, and ensuring excellent customer service within an optimal work environment. Comprehensive management of operations and inventory Oversee general operations across all store areas while serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities as a role model and ensure employees provide customer advice and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable recommendations and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among themselves and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and monitor area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restroom and cafeteria maintenance, sales floor and parking lot upkeep—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and process register closings for direct reports following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
