Job Summary: Supervise the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining proper operational processes and an optimal work environment. Ensures customer satisfaction and inventory control Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to their scheduled work hours and to AutoZone’s established dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and monitor area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review the daily cash count for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and process register closings for your direct reports following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma or equivalent * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to meet scheduling needs AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
