SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Provide support for in-store operational floor activities by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and delivery trucks in accordance with applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; also handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions using cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with cash register payment policies to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience is desirable.
