SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Provide floor-level operational support in stores by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet store-level operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct product placement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; also handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Prior customer service experience is desirable.
