This is your opportunity to join STRATTEC as a Robotics Engineer. Objective: Responsible for development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modification of paint trajectories for exterior automotive plastic parts via programming of Fanuc P-50iB10L robots; obtaining approvals per various OEM standards (VW, GM, and Ford); monitoring the application process during mass production across all shifts while respecting established production parameters for this purpose. As well as compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare process control documents using forms and daily parameter records. Develop Work Instructions (WI) relevant to the position, clearly listing methods, frequencies, materials, and other details understandable by any person. Develop and implement job routines to ensure consistent process monitoring (daily activity plan). Collaboratively design prototype and production fixtures with Paint Support Operators and Robotics Engineers, adhering to the standard defined in the Paint Book.
