SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Provide support for store operational activities—including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—to meet operational and commercial performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in merchandise stocking and planogram execution 2. Provide customer service and process cash register transactions 3. Be part of a team that values dedication and teamwork Provide floor-level operational support in the store by executing assigned operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as defined by AutoZone, ensuring proper compliance to achieve the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Execute accurate planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform correct front-facing and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities to ensure proper product placement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—ensuring excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures—and handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in strict adherence to AutoZone’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
