At Tecnofood, we are seeking a Production Coordinator Responsible for ensuring efficient daily and weekly production program execution by implementing and monitoring standardized work systems with line leaders, guaranteeing achievement of productivity, food safety, quality, and safety objectives in alignment with food industry best practices. Responsibilities: 1. Prepare daily and weekly productivity/efficiency/effectiveness reports to submit to the Production Manager 2. Coordinate and supervise compliance with food safety, quality, maintenance, sanitation, and safety guidelines across all production lines 3. Provide necessary documentation to Warehouse and Production areas to support fulfillment of the production plan 4. Manage, report on, and track maintenance work orders for production lines 5. Assign personnel to production teams considering competencies, timing, and line balancing 6. Optimize healthy physical inventory levels in the process warehouse versus system levels through monitoring and supervision of physical consumption and ERP system data 7. Ensure appropriate inventory consumption via FIFO system through process audits, good documentation practices, and operational area feedback 8. Develop departmental documentation (procedures, instructions, forms, and/or LUPS) 9. Conduct incident reporting and follow-up to resolve incidents 10. Prepare productivity reports to support process efficiency and standardization improvements 11. Participate in traceability exercises and internal audits 12. Actively collaborate to provide Production area support in resolving incidents related to raw materials and production processes 13. Propose process control improvement initiatives 14. Manage coordination of operational activities or ERP-related tasks for Line Managers/Leaders 15. Train and monitor ERP-related activities (material receipt, PRO declarations, material returns, quality inspections, incidents, downtime, etc.) 16. Update daily production indicators (bulk products and pastes, packaging [3.8 L, 150 ml, 414 ml, 946 ml], samples and seasonings [100g, 800 g, 1 kg], deliveries to PT [PRO declarations]) prior to startup meetings to keep the operations team informed of daily progress 17. Share PRO status in operation (quantities produced) and in the system (declarations) 18. Provide technical support, assistance, and advisory services related to sauce and dressing manufacturing chemistry and technology to the production staff 19. Leadership, management, and coordination of activities with production lines 20. Conduct time and motion studies to monitor line performance indicators 21. Track and/or implement continuous improvement initiatives across various production lines Job Requirements: Education: Technical degree in Food Industries; Chemical Engineering (Food specialization); Food Industry Engineering; Agro-industrial Engineering; Biotechnology Engineering; Food Biochemistry; or equivalent; or Industrial Engineering Experience: Minimum 2 years in food production processes, 1 year in production supervision, coordination, or equivalent, and ERP system experience (SAP preferred) Required Competencies: • Knowledge of legal regulations governing human-consumption product manufacturing, storage, and commercialization processes • Theoretical knowledge of prerequisite programs, HACCP, GMPs, basic microbiology, emulsion, dressing, and/or sauce manufacturing, and experience with sanitation processes in the food industry • Ability to focus on meeting deadlines • Engineering project and continuous improvement management • Data and team performance indicator analysis • Clear communication and interpersonal skills • Results orientation and problem-solving ability • Adaptability to technological and methodological changes Language: Advanced Spanish / Technical English (preferred) Soft Skills: Transactional leadership Assertive communication Teamwork Problem solving Critical thinking Adaptability to change Working under pressure Reports to: Production Manager Direct Reports: Line Manager/Leader Operators A-B-C WE OFFER: Salary: $18,000 gross monthly Statutory benefits Punctuality and attendance bonus: $800 monthly Additional statutory rest days Special Working Conditions: • Flexible Hours: Willingness required for overtime extensions and participation in inventory counts conducted at month/year-end closures, as scheduled for operations. -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher Education – Bachelor’s Degree 2 years of experience Age: 24 years and older Knowledge: Coordination ability, Social/relational competence, Efficiency, Problem solving, Results orientation, Industrial engineering, Production processes, Production, Tracking, Execution Keywords: resident, supervisor, foreman, assistant manager, responsible, coordinator, manager, captain, production, produce, fabrication, manufacturing, elaboration, making, manufacture, production
