Procurement Manager

Description

Job Summary: Management of procurement processes, review of extraordinary purchase requests, and validation of deliveries, with a focus on continuous improvement and supplier management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages procurement and raw material supply processes. 2. Updates internal efficiency indicators and identifies areas for improvement. 3. Compares supplier alternatives for continuous optimization. Manages procurement processes based on the semi-annual planning for raw material, finished product, and service supply. Reviews extraordinary purchase requests according to each department's needs. Validates physical delivery of products against purchase order specifications when such deliveries exceed the established limit. Updates internal efficiency indicators related to the procurement function to identify areas for improvement. Maintains quarterly compliance reports for recurrent and high-volume suppliers. Compares supplier alternatives as potential substitutes in case of incidents involving the regular supplier, or as part of the continuous improvement plan to remove suppliers with recurring issues. Notifies all departments interacting with the procurement department of any operational changes.
