Request ID: 252509 Join a winning team with a clear purpose, committed to delivering results in an inclusive, high-performance culture. **Portfolio Optimization Consultant (Secured),** **Purpose:** Support the Department of Portfolio Analysis, Optimization, and Securitization in Mexico by ensuring that specific individual objectives, plans, and initiatives are executed or fulfilled in alignment with the team’s business strategies and goals. Ensure all activities comply with applicable internal standards, policies, and procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze placement trends for Secured products, segmented by channel, product, territory, seasonality, vintage, pricing, customer profile, etc. * Conduct analysis, monitoring, and updates of collateral valuations * Manage and administer special portfolios (SHF, Infonavit, FOVISSSTE, Genworth) * Respond to and track information requests from internal and external audits * Analyze incoming applications to determine conversion rates, approval rates, and productivity—segmented by vintage, channel, product, and customer profile * Manage data sources related to mortgage and auto loan origination * Design, automate, and produce performance indicators for target achievement and productivity in mortgage and auto loan placements for Corporate Management—including tracking campaign and promotion effectiveness * Fulfill internal and external departmental requests for origination, portfolio, and financial information * Coordinate with commercial teams on the allocation of targets by channel and territory, at branch and specialized executive levels * Validate data generated by various internal departments to identify potential deviations and coordinate necessary adjustments with responsible departments to ensure appropriate monitoring of product profitability * Identify market opportunities through analysis of placement and portfolio trends using internal and banking sector data—segmented by channel, product, territory, seasonality, vintage, pricing, customer profile, etc. * Develop and update processes related to the functions described above * Provide backup support for certain responsibilities of the Department of Portfolio Analysis, Optimization, and Securitization. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration * Experience managing databases * Advanced proficiency in Excel and macros * Knowledge and experience in the consumer credit lifecycle * Specific knowledge and experience in consumer credit regulation or compliance * Basic knowledge of financial mathematics * Analytical thinking * Business acumen **We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Direct employment with the institution * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Professional development and growth opportunities within the Scotiabank Group **Scotiabank Position** \- Miguel Hidalgo (hybrid) Thank you for your interest.
