**Location:** MX - Toluca Factory **English:** Advanced **Position Summary** Lead, propose, develop, and manage packaging and packing projects for the assigned business, with a focus on innovation, renewal, optimization, cost savings, and quality. This process involves aligning business and plant requirements with external suppliers through rigorous planning and supervision of activities to ensure timely, complete, and high-quality deliveries, minimizing errors and guaranteeing compliance with established regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze packaging, packing, and equipment, as well as the feasibility, development, and industrialization of projects, defining packaging and equipment specifications together with the Central Offices team, and establishing implementation timelines to ensure projects are completed on time, fully, with quality, and without failure. * Research, develop, and define trends in packaging and packing materials and equipment. Maintain close contact with Central Offices and suppliers to generate proposals for new materials. * Support validation and testing of packaging and packing materials and equipment, validating and verifying the feasibility of using new packaging materials on existing or new equipment, and determine testing duration while establishing usage conditions to ensure proper performance. * Optimize or replace packaging materials, and simplify packaging and packing processes to achieve cost reduction, quality improvement, and line efficiency. * Develop and maintain packaging specifications, document their approval—including operational conditions, validation results, and release—and request compliance certificates and regulatory standards. **What Will Make You Successful?** * Minimum 3 years’ experience in packaging engineering, design, quality, production, and/or projects related to packaging materials and machinery in consumer goods companies. * Knowledge of new product development processes. * Proficiency in computer tools: SAP, Microsoft Office. * Advanced English.
